Good afternoon, Congregation,

I hope you are enjoying our nice weather right now and that you are keeping yourself safe and well.  My prayer is that this pandemic will be over by the beginning of next year!  May God continue to bless you and your family and friends!

This Sunday is All Saints’ Day.  I sent forms the last two weeks, so that if you had someone that passed away to be with Lord since November last year, you could send in their names so that we could light a candle for them.  If you forgot to do it, please call me and I will add them during the All Saints’ Day Memorial Service and light a candle for them. (817-229-1796)

Don’t forget that we are giving out shoeboxes to be filled for Samaritan’s Purse, Operation Christmas Child.  We have a few shoeboxes left so if you want to fill one, please contact me at 817-229-1796 and I will meet you at the church and give you one.  They are to be returned filled by Sunday, Nov., 15th.

Tomorrow we are giving out our Loaves & Fishes boxes to be filled with change, bills, or checks.  This is a mission project from our denomination which will help feed the hungry in the Philippines and Guatemala and also to feed the hungry in our community.  Call me and I will be glad to give you a box to fill.  They need to be returned on Sunday, Nov. 22nd.  I will be glad to meet you at the church for you to return it.

Our CP Women’s Ministry is having a Bakeless Bake Sale since we are unable to have our Craft/Bake Sale in November because of the pandemic.  Any time during the month of November, you may donate to our Bakeless Bake Sale by sending a check to our CPWM treasurer, Penny Brunner, 6912 Greenlee, Ft. Worth, TX 76112 or giving it to her at church.  Your donation will help us with our mission projects.

Have a very blessed weekend.  Hope to see you tomorrow if you are able to come!

In Christ,

Barbara
